EQUALITY?

Out there I walk, in name of struggle,

While you kiss your pillow to a sleep.

Roofless, in cold, yearning for shelter,

While your inn keeps your body warm.

Thrown off by unreal infinite thoughts,

Your own calms as though it’s newborn.

I exchange my sweat n’ blood for meal,

You sit, wish and command to thy table.

A long wait for me to view the full light,

And it’s a view you have tagged as norm.

Who then says equality will ever prevail?

That we may think we live in the same world?

We race with different oil, yet we must win?

Equality; just a new word for impossibility!
